I actually really love Aunt Billie and had been looking for an excuse to make gifs for her, so this request was a fun fill.
my feelings on Moana are that since she’s a navigator and a sailor, and since that requires a lot of body strength, she should be stocky and well built. Still feminine, still a princess, still dances and sings and has hair that no one will ever achieve, just with a curvy, stocky, muscular body that shows she’s worked for her skills has a navigator. I want her to have scars from a shark attack and carry a harpoon. I don’t really want her dainty, if she tries to be dainty and formal, it sort of plays out like a bull in a china shop.
idk just my thoughts.
No escape from the storm inside of me
I just got back from USACFC nationals in Knoxville, Tenn. and I lost my wallet at the convention center. If you know anything about a blue/tan coach wallet, please message me. It has a lot if stuff I need every day for school.
This is absolutely 1000% my new mental image for these two (not that it wasn’t pretty damn close before).
For Atlantis, Disney needed a new language for the Atlantean people. To do this, Disney hired Mark Okrand, the man who also created the famous Klingon and Vulcan for the Star Trek series. In the Atlantean language, Mark Okrand’s main source for it’s roots and stems of its words are Proto-Indo-European,but as Okrand also described it as being the “tower of babel” or “root dialect” for all languages in the world, he also used ancient Chinese, Latin, Greek, Biblical Hebrew, along with many other ancient languages or their reconstructions. As such, you can actually learn to write and speak the language!
This film is so underrated it hurts.
ah this explains how they understood french and english so well almost instantly… better than the magical wind in Pocahontas that’s for sure
Another fun fact: they based a lot of Milo’s personality as a linguist off of Mark … Mainly because they didn’t know any other linguists to base Milo off of.
